In this role you will work within a group of highly creative and skilled design engineers to deliver high-quality surface geometry models to aid the aerodynamic development of the team's race car. Team members are encouraged to challenge established thinking and design creative solutions in an environment where everyone can contribute to our shared success.
- Sketch innovative ideas and design high-quality surface geometry models for CFD, Wind Tunnel and full-size releases
- Collaborate with Aerodynamicists to understand the definition and scope of assigned surfaces, including modeling and construction approach
- Liaise with model designers to ensure efficient implementation of assigned aerodynamic projects
- Support with the release of aero surface geometry to the full-size car design office
- Collaborate with full-size car designers to create high-quality surface geometry for full-size release
- Support the implementation of standard design practices

What do you need to bring to the team?
- A degree in a relevant discipline ( Design / Engineering / Motorsport) or equivalent
- Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the motorsport industry or product design
- Excellent experience with 3D CAD software (preferably 3DExperience/CATIA)
- Able to produce innovative ideas and communicate them through sketching
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to transform ideas into visuals
- Knowledge of building parametric CAD models with a good understanding of surface quality and robust modelling techniques
- Good understanding of shape and spatial awareness
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and written, including with key stakeholders and directors
