About the Role

As a student placement in Race Strategy, you’ll work closely with the Strategy team to support race and test events and contribute to decision-making that directly impacts car performance. You will:

• Support live operations from Mission Control during race and test events
• Assist with the development of analysis tools and processes to optimise team performance
• Produce pre-event and post-event analysis, reporting, and insights for the wider team
• Work individually or collaboratively on data-driven projects to improve departmental output
• Contribute ideas to enhance the tools, processes, and methodologies used by the Strategy team
• Analyse data to support clear, informed decisions that improve on-track performance.
  
  

This is a fast-paced, dynamic role where your work directly supports the team during events and helps shape the processes that drive competitive advantage.


About You

We’re looking for motivated, analytical students who share our racer’s spirit. You should be:

• Studying engineering, mathematics, data science, or a related field at degree level
• Confident analysing data, interpreting results, and producing actionable insights
• Interested in motorsport strategy and how data informs decision-making on track
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic, event-driven environment
• Curious, innovative, and willing to contribute ideas to improve tools and processes
• A clear and positive communicator, with a collaborative approach.
