About the Role

As a student placement engineer in our Electronics team, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing, developing and testing world-class systems for Formula One®.

Your work may include:

• Designing and developing sensor interfaces, embedded systems, data acquisition solutions, power supplies, and drives
• Supporting the full lifecycle: requirements capture, circuit design, prototyping, schematic capture, PCB layout, calibration, and testing
• Developing and supporting HIL testers, driver simulators, and calibration rigs
• Assisting with harness design, sensor selection, and production support
• Using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators and logic analysers
• Helping improve design processes, tools, and quality standards.
  
  

No two days are the same – you’ll be involved in a wide range of exciting, practical tasks, making a real contribution to the team.


About You

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

• Studying a relevant engineering degree (with strong academic results)
• Passionate about electronics, embedded systems, sensors and hardware/firmware development
• Experienced (through university, projects or previous work) in circuit design, PCB layout, microcontroller programming, prototyping, and harness design
• Curious, adaptable, and able to work well in a team-focused, fast-moving environment
• A clear and positive communicator, with a collaborative approach.
