Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Stores Person to support our fast-paced manufacturing and race team environment. In this position you will play a key role in delivering an efficient, accurate and professional Stores service, supporting internal departments and external stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to the performance, reliability and success of our race programme.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receipt of goods from suppliers, including car parts and consumables.
  • Booking parts into stock from Inspection locations and closing works orders.
  • Accurate labelling and storage of stock.
  • Picking and issuing parts for internal and external works orders.
  • Front counter service to internal departments.
  • Consumable issuing and stock checks.
  • Working in line with departmental KPIs, procedures and reporting structures.
  • Maintaining strong Health & Safety standards at all times.
  • Actively developing skills and maintaining industry-standard knowledge.
  • Supporting a collaborative, accountable and high-performance team culture.
  • Undertaking any other duties aligned with the role as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous Stores experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of parts handling, stores procedures and processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to manage own workload.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
  • A strong understanding of, and commitment to, Health & Safety.
  • A team player who demonstrates professionalism, respect and accountability.
