Job Description

We have a new opportunity to be part of our high-performance IT team in the role of Solution Architect.

This is an exciting chance to play a critical role in designing and shaping technology solutions that drive real business outcomes. Working in a fast-paced and precision-driven environment, your technical leadership will directly contribute to our ambition of consistently being a top team in the FIA Constructors’ Championship.

As a key member of the Enterprise Architecture team, you’ll lead architectural design, evaluate solution options, and ensure technical alignment across multiple systems and platforms. If you thrive on delivering robust, scalable, and secure solutions in a dynamic setting, we want to hear from you.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the architectural design of new technology solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise vision, principles, and standards.
  • Evaluating proposed solutions against business requirements, cost, benefits, and risk—delivering high-impact recommendations.
  • Participating in RFI/RFP processes for product selection, conducting technical due diligence and providing expert input.
  • Owning software governance by ensuring new applications meet non-functional requirements including security, performance, and compliance.
  • Presenting architectural proposals to the Design Authority and owning actions from design to delivery.
  • Supporting the delivery and integration of hybrid-cloud and on-premise architecture footprints.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Strong grounding in TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Broad knowledge of core business systems such as ERP, CRM, and SaaS platforms.
  • Proven expertise in designing hybrid-cloud and on-premise architecture solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software governance, architecture patterns, and non-functional drivers such as scalability, performance, and security.
  • Technical leadership experience with a consultative approach and the ability to influence and engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of integration techniques, data architecture including Big Data, AI/ML, data warehousing, and analytics.
  • A proven track record in guiding technology product selection and leading architecture decisions from discovery through to implementation.

This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
