Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious data-driven Social and Digital Channel Manager to lead and elevate Atlassian Williams Racing's social and digital presence. This role is integral to shaping how we engage with our global fanbase, sponsors, and partners across social media and digital platforms. As the primary voice of Williams Racing, you will develop and implement insight-focussed strategies to grow our digital platforms, fan engagement and deliver exciting content that tells the Williams Racing story in an innovative and compelling way.
This is a key role within the team to maximise platform efficiency and success to deliver best-in-class output. The Social and Digital Channel Manager also oversees the processes and strategy for all content initiatives. The successful candidate will implement a data-first approach using analytics tools to inform decisions, optimise posting, and understand audience behaviour. Exceptional organisational and leadership skills are also needed to own the day-to-day planning and publishing operations of the team. They will have an excellent understanding of social media best practices, channel optimisation, and current trends. Additionally, that a data-first approach means content is posted consistently, strategically, and unlocks key growth opportunities.
Responsibilities include the management and leadership of the social media team to ensure content on our channels reflects the Atlassian Williams racing brand and our ambition to be back at the front of the grid. Additionally, an understanding of web and app platforms and how we offer fans a best-in-class experience on through digital. The role will work extremely closely with our Data and Insights team to ensure we use analytics and reporting to maximise performance. They will also manage and oversee delivery of content that is well structured and planned to meet departmental OKR’s. It will also be a key point of contact across our Marketing department and beyond, leading quality control, publishing times and stakeholder management.

Main Duties:
- Adopt and implement a complete data-first approach to planning and strategy.
- Manage and lead social video team inspiring insight-driven content execution expertise.
- Assist with day-to-day management of video content output ensuring quality control, key publishing times and stakeholder management.
- Coordinate content strategy across web, app & social platforms, using data & insight team, to inform content, platform strategy & audience segmentation.
- Own an annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly view of a Content Roadmap, at varying levels of depth relevant to the stakeholder groups.
- Work with production operations to ensure a clear view of plans, ensuring that production hours and skills are allocated appropriately.
- Develop plans for large content activations, delivering content briefings, narrative and platform best practice with Content Production team.
- Work constantly with Data and Insights team to manage sessions for feedback loops and continual improvement according to performance.
- Work with the Data and Insights team to support measurement strategies, including OKR’s to be measured and communicated
- Conceptualise and plan marketing content around key moments in the annual calendar.
- Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to plan and develop engaging content to increase value for other departments and meet business and brand objectives.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a sports brand in a similar role.
- Significant experience with using social media management and analytics tools.
- Experience of developing and executing paid social media campaigns.
- Successful examples of coordinating digital content strategies that integrate seamlessly with broader marketing and brand objectives.
