  • Conduct composite structure analyses, leveraging deep understanding of laminate theory, ply-level failure criteria, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with design groups to challenge concepts, refine load paths, and influence design evolution from concept through to track deployment.
  • Define, scrutinise, and validate structural load cases, ensuring alignment with vehicle usage and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation and present findings in technical reviews, ensuring clear communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives to improve analysis workflows, enhance modelling accuracy, and support the development of best practices within the Structure group.

  • Strong experience with composite material analysis and optimisation techniques.
  • Proficient in CAD-FEA integration, automation scripting (e.g., Python, TCL), and handling complex load case environments.
  • Knowledge of, fatigue, and damage tolerance desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional design decisions.
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
