Our Team

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

  • Attending all race and test events during the season
  • Prepare, pack and hand out of the components at the track
  • Install the hydraulics at the Engine, Gearbox or Chassis, if this is not done at the factory. (Power steering, dampers, SLM system, Gearbox, hydraulic pumps)
  • Responsible for bleeding hydraulic system at the track and in the factory
  • Involved for heat up procedure of the hydraulic system before fire up
  • The responsibilities includes the assembly, service, repair and test of both, new and in-service assemblies and their associated components for our Race Team and Race Team Support. With the support of the factory
  • Required to work to the highest standards and in accordance with the specifications, to ensure delivery, performance and reliability targets are met efficiently and on time
  • Responsible for SAP booking, damage/fault recording and reporting of all hydraulic components
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness & presentation of all equipment & proactively work to maintain and improve the team presentation at events
  • In charge for regular hydraulic oil check at the lubricant supplier or with our own test center

  • Actively participate in all obligatory trainings (physical, mental, procedural) organized by the company
  • Maintain a clean and orderly working environment
  • Be an engaged and contributing member of the pit stop crew
  • To be open and supportive of new ideas
  • Assist and support fellow team members both at home and on the road
  • Take on additional duties related to track operations or as instructed
  • Drive the team van together with the car crew
  • Promote and embody a "zero mistakes" culture
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the hydraulic system, equipment, and procedures in collaboration with the engineering teams in Hinwil and Neuburg
  • Demonstrate a proactive, "can-do" attitude
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic data analyzes in Atlas
  • Full professional proficiency in English or German and willingness to learn a basic level of the other language required
