Job Description
This is a senior position within the Creative team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping Atlassian Williams Racing’s digital and brand identity. You will collaborate closely with the Fan Engagement, Digital, and Content teams to produce striking, best in class activations that elevate experiences and interactions across social media, app, and website platforms. This is a unique opportunity to leave your mark on Williams Racing’s evolving brand presence.
Location: This role is based at our London office, with opportunities for travel to support key fan engagement initiatives and activations.
Main Duties:
For almost 50 years, Williams Racing has been at the forefront of one of the fastest sports on the planet, being one of the top three most successful teams in history competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. With an almost unrivalled heritage of engineering and racing F1 cars and unforgettable eras that demonstrate it is a force to be reckoned with, the British squad boasts 16 F1 World Championship titles to its name.
Since its foundation in 1977 by the eminent, late Sir Frank Williams and engineering pioneer Sir Patrick Head, the team has won nine Constructors’ Championships, in association with Cosworth, Honda and Renault. Its roll call of drivers is legendary, with its seven Drivers’ Championship trophies being lifted by true icons of the sport: Alan Jones, Keke Rosberg, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve. The team has made history before and is out to make it again with a long-term mission to evolve and return to the front of the grid.

Main Duties:
- Create engaging and platform-specific digital assets for fan engagement across social media, web, and interactive experiences, ensuring consistency with Williams Racing’s brand identity.
- Develop innovative social media content including static graphics for the key social channels
- Design immersive digital activations to drive fan engagement, such as interactive campaigns, AR filters, dynamic race weekend templates, and live-event visuals.
- Support the Fan Engagement program by designing creative assets for pop-up store branding, Merchandise, and licensing (M&L), event graphics, and experiential activations.
- Collaborate with the Digital, Content, Creative and Merchandise teams to generate impact with visual storytelling across all channels.
- Ensure all assets adhere to industry best practices, optimising formats, file sizes, and layouts for social and digital platforms.
- Research emerging digital design trends and new technologies (e.g., AI-driven design, real-time rendering) to push the creative boundaries for Williams Racing’s fan engagement efforts.
- Contribute to the evolution of Atlassian Williams Racing’s visual identity, helping to refine creative guidelines for social media and brand first activations.
- Lead and mentor a talented team of creatives, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovative design solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in a social media-focused digital / brand design role within sports, merchandising, entertainment, or a similar fast-paced industry.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign).
- Ability to adapt creative assets for different social media platforms, optimising design elements for each channel’s specifications and best practices.
- Experience in event branding, pop-up store design, or large-scale fan activations is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, able to deliver high-quality work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge - Figma and/or Adobe XD.
- Strong skills in motion graphics, animation, and video editing, particularly for social media and digital-first content.
- Experience in designing digital activations such as AR filters, interactive content, and gamified fan engagement assets.
- Good at data visualisation/infographics - create compelling stories to enhance fan engagement though polls, statistics and insights
