We are seeking an enthusiastic Software Developer to join our Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) group in an exciting and impactful role.
The CFD process is critical to aerodynamic development and relies heavily on automation. It benefits from continuous maintenance and improvement to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Our workflow integrates commercial, open-source, and in-house software, all driven by a robust framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the CFD development team and report to the Head of CFD.
- Develop the solver, methods and mathematical predictive models to enhance and streamline the entire CFD process.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of automation and integration across the CFD pipeline.
- Strong background in a CFD-related field.
- Practical experience in C++ and OpenFOAM development.
- Familiarity with commercial CFD software.
- Proficiency in Python and Linux environments.
- Experience with distributed computing.
- Knowledge of reduced-order, data-driven or surrogate modelling techniques.
