At Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, reliability is at the heart of performance. We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to strengthen the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team Reliability group. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our cars meet the highest standards of safety, legality and reliability. Working across departments, you will combine hands-on race support with data-driven analysis to proactively identify and mitigate risks that could compromise reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend races and provide factory event support as part of a rotational system.
- Oversee real-time data overload monitoring during sessions, escalating critical issues where required.
- Document car and operational issues during events, producing daily summaries.
- Support Race Team in pre-event car builds and post-race strip-downs.
- Participate in pre-event build and test request meetings.
- Chair reliability meetings during and after events.
- Chase containment and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to the development of new reliability tools, processes and procedures.
- Degree-level education (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
- Solid working knowledge of Atlas 9/10 and Catia 3DX.
- Experience with FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) is desirable.
- Resilient and motivated, with the ability to inspire others in challenging environments.
- Calm and confident under pressure, able to deliver results to tight deadlines.
- Results-driven with sound decision-making skills.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build positive cross-functional relationships.
- Commitment to Health & Safety standards.
- Willingness to travel in the UK and internationally.
