We have an exciting opportunity for a Race Team Parts & Lifing Coordinatorto join our Race Team. In this role you will be responsible in the assistance of trackside inventory management and logistics. Working mainly from the AMF1 campus and travelling to race and test events as allocated. You will work closely with the Race Team Parts and Lifing Co-ordinator, Race Team Chief Mechanic, and other key technical departments to maintain accuracy, reliability, and traceability across our build and event programs.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist in the management and organisation of trackside parts inventory, ensuring parts availability, and component allocation accuracy.
- Ensuring parts are issued to reflect associated allocations, produce parts shortage reports, and manage inbound and returns shipments and documentation.
- Maintenance and accuracy of trackside ERP
- To assist Chief Mechanic and trackside NDT with damaged parts recording.
- To assist in the management of Driver technical equipment, trackside PPE and trackside team kit inventory.
- Freight shipment co-ordination including shipment optimisation, returns management and event specific parts logistics.
- Maintain professional standards in safety, communication, and documentation.
- Travel to race and test events as allocated.
- Participate in pit stops and training as allocated.
- Assist with garage setup and pack-down at all allocated events.
- Previous experience of a trackside inventory management role in Formula One or high-level Motorsport.
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of race car assemblies and components.
- Possess excellent knowledge of Inventory management systems / ERP
- Prior experience of IFS/LifeCheck software or similar is an advantage.
- Experience of process and systems improvement is advantageous.
- Ability to confidently work under pressure and with minimal supervision, to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
- To be self-motivated, flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
