We have an exciting opening for a Parts Co-ordinator within our Race Team. This role offers the unique opportunity to travel and be part of all the Race Team calendar events. This role is for maternity cover of 9-12 months.

Reporting to the Trackside Co-ordinator your key responsibilities will include:
Race Team Parts Co-ordinator – About The Person
The successful candidate will have good understanding of car components, stock management and parts flow in a manufacturing environment (preferably F1 or motorsport). They will be a person who works to the highest standards, with a methodical approach to work and very good attention to detail.
They must be able to use knowledge to prioritise workload and remain focused when working under pressure, be flexible, adaptable and be able to work independently. Must be a problem solver and enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a team that thrives to deliver their best in the championship.

Race Team Parts Co-ordinator – About the Role…
Reporting to the Trackside Co-ordinator your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing race team stock of car parts; both physically and electronically, as well as being responsible for the allocation and lifing of car components. This involves ordering new parts through the production department whilst giving predictions of expected stock usage to ensure stock levels are maintained but not over resourced.
- Creating suitable turnaround plans to ensure sensible workload for both factory and race team working with the F1 calendar. Whilst adhering to various life limits and expected new part arrival.
- Working closely with Chief Mechanic and Race Engineers to ensure correct parts are on the car for performance, reliability, and safety.
- Packing and unpacking of freight: air cargo shacks, late freight shipments and late hand-baggage of car parts.
- Co-ordinating shipments of car parts and team equipment between factory and the track. Including the packing and unpacking of these shipments trackside.
