The QA Tech plays a crucial role in ensuring that incoming materials and components meet the stringent quality standards required for our racing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying the quality and compliance of goods received at our Silverstone facility, contributing directly to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our production process.
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards, including visual and documentation compliance.
- Utilize measurement equipment and tools to validate incoming components against specified criteria.
- Document inspection results, recording any discrepancies or non-conformance issues in accordance with the QRS system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality concerns and ensure timely rectification of non-conforming materials.
- Support the creation and maintenance of quality control records and reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procedures for the inspection of incoming materials.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing inspections.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to establishing a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring all equipment used is calibrated and in safe working condition.
