Key Responsibilities
- Construct and manage Project timing plans, defining all work & activities required to deliver projects using logical sequencing and task linkages.
- Liaising with Design & Manufacturing teams, create realistic project timing plans to help drive successful project delivery.
- Maintain live project schedules, highlight deviations, and communicate project health & risk to key stakeholders.
- Develop resource capacity planning tools to accurately predict demands on various functions across the business.
- Notify plan deviations to the relevant stakeholders together with an assessment regarding criticality of deviation.
- Actively manage project portfolio, ensuring plans accurately updated & linked to all business communication systems.
- Chair Project focused meetings with appropriate stakeholders to effectively manage the plans, collating & distributing clear & precise minutes/actions
- Contribute to the development of planning tools and reporting solutions to keep us ahead of the competition.
- Proven experience as a Project Planner/Coordinator in Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace, or precision manufacturing.
- Possess an excellent working knowledge of a mainstream PPM software solution such as Microsoft PWA, Primavera P6 or similar.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of both Composite & Mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Project Management principles (Prince2, APM PMQ, or equivalent).
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge PowerBi or similar reporting tools.
- A natural problem solver who thrives under pressure and can make confident decisions.
- To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
