Job Description

This position is part of Williams Grand Prix Technologies, a Williams Group company.

At Williams Grand Prix Technologies (WGPT), we take the innovation and precision of Formula 1 and apply it to ambitious projects across multiple industries. We’re now looking for a Procurement Lead to take ownership of procurement, and shaping how we source, negotiate and deliver.

You’ll be responsible for setting up procurement processes, frameworks and best practices that support a wide range of bespoke programmes. From sourcing advanced battery systems and high-voltage components to building strong supplier relationships, you’ll ensure every project is delivered on time, cost-effectively and to the highest standards.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in both direct and indirect procurement, ideally in technology, engineering or consulting sectors. You’ll be confident working in fast-paced environments, able to set up processes from scratch, and comfortable negotiating with suppliers to get the best value. Experience in battery product development, motorsport, automotive, aerospace or defence would be a big advantage, and CIPS certification is a plus.

This is not procurement as usual. It’s an opportunity to shape procurement at WGPT from the ground up and play a vital role in delivering world-class technology programmes.

If you’re ready to bring speed, precision and impact to procurement, we’d love to hear from you!
