Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).
In program management, we act as the central unit of Audi Formula Racing GmbH. We form the interface between the technical areas, the supply chain and the financial management of the company and are thus responsible for the complex project management for the development and production of the Audi F1 Powertrain. We operate in a highly exciting, always time-critical and rapidly changing environment. Through intensive cooperation, we ensure transparency for the achievement of project goals and early identification of project risks. In addition to high personal standards, willingness to communicate and team performance, we also focus on enjoying our work! Due to the dependence of many different topics in our area of responsibility, close cooperation and a high degree of openness are prerequisites for our successful work.

Your Mission
- Project planning and management: Responsibility for the planning, implementation and control of projects within the framework of Audi Formula 1 activities. Creation of transparency about development and supply chain processes for the Audi F1 Power Unit.
- Align and set milestones, goals, and timelines to ensure that all projects are on track to achieve overall goals.
- Cross-departmental coordination: Close cooperation with the project manager, the development teams of the Power Unit and the adjacent departments of logistics, procurement, quality assurance and workshops. Ensure a smooth flow between these teams to optimize the development cycles of the power unit components.
- Risk management: Identification of risks and proactive development of measures and proposed solutions so as not to jeopardize project results.
- Reporting: Regular reports to AFR management on the progress and status of projects.
- Continuous process optimization: Analyze and improve existing operations with a focus on program management and supply chain processes to continuously increase efficiency and performance.
- Progress monitoring and evaluation: Regularly reviewing project progress to ensure that strategic goals are being met and adjustments can be made in a timely manner if necessary.
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in project management, preferably in the motorsport industry or in a comparably demanding environment with high dynamics and technical complexity.
- Technical understanding: A high level of understanding of the technical processes and requirements in the Formula 1 environment in order to be able to coordinate and control projects efficiently.
- Methodological skills: Sound knowledge of project management methods as well as in the areas of time and resource planning, risk management and cost control.
- Experience in project management of interdisciplinary teams and the motivation of employees in a dynamic environment.
- You have business fluency in German or English and are willing to learn basic knowledge of the other language.
- Resilience and flexibility: High resilience and the ability to deliver high-quality results under high pressure in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Problem-solving skills: Strong ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative, pragmatic solutions.
- International experience: Willingness to travel as well as intercultural competence to operate effectively in a global environment.
