Red Bull Powertrains has an exciting Operational Excellence Specialist opportunity to lead and support improvement initiatives across our Supply Chain operations.

As we transition from building our team’s first Power Units, you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring they are refined to be race-ready, all aimed at delivering the most competitive car on the 2026 Formula One grid! You will be based at our state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, working alongside our incredibly talented team, where you’ll apply lean tools, data analysis and structured problem-solving to optimise processes, reduce waste, and improve quality, cost and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate processes using Lean and statistical tools
  • Identify inefficiencies and conduct root cause analysis
  • Create and implement improvement plans
  • Drive standardisation and best-practice adoption
  • Lead/support Continuous Improvement (CI) projects
  • Coach teams in CI practices and foster a culture of improvement

What We’re Looking For:

  • Problem Solver – Naturally curious with a structured approach to diagnosing and solving process-related challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement Focused – Passionate about driving change, eliminating waste, and optimising performance.
  • Collaborative – Works well across teams, departments, and levels to influence and implement positive change
  • Resilient and Persistent – Comfortable navigating resistance and committed to seeing initiatives through to completion.
  • Strong Communicator – Able to clearly articulate ideas, influence stakeholders, and engage teams in improvement activities.
  • Organised and Methodical – Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with clear prioritisation.
  • Practical and Proactive – Actively engages on the shop floor, working alongside operators to observe, understand, and address real-world challenges with a positive, can-do and flexible attitude
  • Adaptable – Thrives in a dynamic environment and can adjust to changing priorities and business needs

Not only is this a great opportunity to join the newly formed Operational Excellence Department as a Continuous Improvement Specialist, but it is also a fantastic team to work with here at Red Bull Powertrains. A good salary is just the start, there are many other benefits too such as our bonus scheme, private health care cover, life assurance scheme, workplace nursery scheme, company contributed pension scheme, on site gym & fitness classes, free daily food allowance, and a cycle to work scheme; but above all, the job satisfaction doesn’t get any better than the feeling of making a real contribution to our championship winning Grand Prix cars.
