Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

  • As part of our NDT team, you will support crack testing of new parts and race-used vehicle components after race and test events, using the NDT methods MT, PT, and VT
  • Clean, preserve, and store components after crack testing
  • Prepare, document, and create inspection reports
  • Record defect notifications in the quality management system
  • Assist with the maintenance and servicing of crack testing and cleaning equipment

Your profile

  • Successfully completed basic mechanical training, with additional qualification in the field of non-destructive testing
  • Practical experience in non-destructive testing methods: MT – Magnetic Particle Testing, PT – Penetrant Testing, and VT – Visual Testing
  • Certified to Level 1 or 2 in MT, PT, and VT methods
  • Very good German or English skills are required, along with a willingness to learn basic skills in the other language
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
