We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our Quality team working on nights. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of high-precision components that are both internally manufactured and externally supplied. These components play a vital role across our cutting-edge engineering and high-performance racing operations, where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assure the quality of metallic components both internally and externally manufactured.
- Carry out detailed inspections using advanced metrology equipment and software.
- Work collaboratively across Quality Assurance, Production Control, and the Race Team.
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in Quality Assurance.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of machining and inspection techniques.
- Attend and participate in meetings to support cross-functional goals.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and technical drawings.
- Proficient in CMM operations with working knowledge of PcDmis and Polyworks.
- Experience with Absolute Arms, Shadowgraphs, Contour Tracers, and handheld inspection tools.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems such as IFS.
- Competence in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Previous experience in Formula One or high-level motorsport is highly desirable.
- Calm and focused under pressure with a strong commitment to quality and deadlines.
