As part of that ambition, we are seeking a highly capable and solutions-driven Marketing Manager to support our Head of Marketing Operations in the day-to-day execution and optimisation of our campaigns and processes.
This is a hands-on role for a marketing professional who thrives in high-energy environments, brings structure to complexity, and has a passion for driving efficiency, creativity, and impact. You’ll be a vital link between teams, managing cross-functional workflows, coordinating campaign execution, and ensuring our operational engine runs at peak performance. Main Duties:
- Campaign Management: Support the delivery of priority marketing campaigns across brand, content, digital, and partnerships, ensuring clear project scopes, deadlines, and OKR’s are established and met.
- Project Ownership: Lead and manage specific projects from briefing through to execution and reporting, aligning internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver against timelines and expectations.
- Talent & Influencer Activation: Source, brief, and manage influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors in alignment with campaign objectives and brand guidelines, ensuring all activations resonate with our target audience and uphold the brand's values.
- Cultural Insight & Brand Relevance: Monitor emerging cultural trends and audience behaviour, identifying smart, timely ways for Williams to show up meaningfully across digital and physical platforms.
- Operational Excellence: Support the Head of Marketing Operations in maintaining and improving internal processes and systems that enable the team to operate efficiently at scale.
- Problem Solving & Proactivity: Take initiative in identifying bottlenecks or opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing smart solutions that drive effectiveness or unlock creativity.
- Budget & Finance Coordination: Manage key elements of financial administration, raising purchase orders, tracking spend, and supporting finance reporting.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Flexibly support additional marketing initiatives as required, responding quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, performance-led environment.
- Role model Williams Values & Behaviours, supporting and holding others accountable to do the same.
- Always ensure compliance with health and safety obligations, supporting managers to uphold expected standards.
- Ensure high standards of behaviour and conduct are upheld across the organisation, including the wellbeing of team members.
- Carry out effective team member performance management, making sure suitable measures are agreed and taken to close any identified gaps in skills or knowledge.
- Ensure you adhere to brand rules and maintain high standards of department presentation.
- Comply with quality standards and identify and contribute ways to continuously improve department and personal performance.
- Ensure understanding of cost cap requirements and identify opportunities to improve optimisation.
- Proven experience managing influencer or talent-based activations, from sourcing to execution and evaluation.
- Strong cultural radar with a feel for what’s relevant, timely, and engaging to target audiences.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while keeping quality high.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident working with senior stakeholders, agencies, and cross-functional teams.
- Financially literate, with experience in raising POs, budget tracking, and reporting.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Formula 1 or motorsport is a bonus, but curiosity and the hunger to learn are essential.
- While some travel may be required, this is a London-based role.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing operations, campaign, or project management role—ideally within sport, entertainment, or live events.
