We are looking for anIT Trackside Commercial Integration Leadto join our growing IT team here based at our state of the art campus in Silverstone!
This role will be crucial in helping deliver robust ,high-performance IT and integrated AV support to our Hospitality Areas during race events and partner operations whilst also helping the team to ensure that content delivery including management of all audio solutions is seamless at every event!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated IT and AV support for the Commercial and Partner Operations teams trackside, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of digital content, presentations, and branding materials.
- Work closely with the IT Trackside team to ensure connectivity of all of the AV solutions remain stable and operational and provide support where needed.
- Manage and maintain content delivery systems, including digital signage, large-format displays, and IPTV infrastructure powered by VITEC.
- Ensure track support AV teams have everything they need from event to event to deliver live and scheduled video streams, ensuring high-quality, on-brand content is delivered across all hospitality areas.
- Act as the focal point of contact for all management and escalations for all technical issues and troubleshooting at all trackside events
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content and systems are online and updated prior to guests arriving at all events
- Support setup and operation of AV systems in hospitality suites, garage environments, and partner areas, including LED walls, PA systems, and display calibration.
- Ensure commercial IT services (Wi-Fi, media servers, workstations, network endpoints) meet required performance and security standards.
- Document all AV and IT systems setup, connectivity diagrams, issue logs, and partner-specific configurations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and event organisers to ensure integration and compliance with on-site technical infrastructure.
- Previous experience as an IT/AV Engineer or Broadcast Technician in a Formula One / high-level Motorsport / live event / commercial activation environment.
- Possess good working knowledge of networking and experience of common desktop and server platforms
- Possess excellent working knowledge of content delivery platforms and AV-over-IP systems, especially VITEC (EZ TV platform).
- Possess a thorough understanding of digital signage solutions, display management, and live streaming within commercial and hospitality environments.
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of AV signal chains, video encoding, IP multicast/unicast, and HDMI/SDI hardware integration.
