The Role
Responsibilities
As an IT Race Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the IT Race Team remotely from our Race Operations Room in Enstone. Additionally, you will travel with our Race Support team to support our Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) programme. This role is perfect for developing the necessary skill set for traveling with the F1 team, should the opportunity arise. Key responsibilities include:

The Role
Responsibilities
As an IT Race Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the IT Race Team remotely from our Race Operations Room in Enstone. Additionally, you will travel with our Race Support team to support our Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) programme. This role is perfect for developing the necessary skill set for traveling with the F1 team, should the opportunity arise. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and maintaining Race Team & Race Support Team Infrastructure and services, including travel to Race Team & Race Support Team events where necessary.
- Providing OPS Room support at our HQ during weekends.
- Managing incidents and ensuring service continuity in high-pressure environments.
- Leading IT projects to improve Race Team & Race Support Team operations and infrastructure resilience.
- Providing 3rd line support for Driver In the Loop simulators, Race Ops room, and Intercom systems.
- Ensuring compliance with ITIL processes including Change, Asset, and Service Management.
- Planning and executing maintenance, freight logistics, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Driving continual service improvement and contributing to cyber security best practices.
