We are looking for an Internal Quality Engineer – Reliability to join our high-performance manufacturing team. This is a critical role at the heart of our operations, where precision, speed, and reliability are essential to delivering world-class components to the track. You will play a pivotal part in upholding the highest quality standards, supporting fault investigation and containment, and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes. As part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will work closely with Engineering, Design, and Production teams to identify risks early, resolve non-conformances, and ensure that every part meets the rigorous demands of elite motorsport.
Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing teams by investigating non-conformances, containing faults, and enhancing quality assurance across the board.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to identify risks early and prevent quality issues before production starts.
- Lead regular review meetings to analyse trends, drive root cause investigations, and implement effective corrective actions for ongoing process improvement.
- Serve as the key quality assurance interface between Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
- Develop clear, concise work instructions for production teams.
- Audit and report on internal NCRs and concessions weekly, sharing key findings with stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead and participate in meetings that drive change and foster improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of QA best practices and standards.
- A strong background in Quality Assurance within a high-performance, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in problem-solving methodologies including 5 Whys, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis, with experience managing and tracking faults using JIRA-based fault management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and a deep understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (IFS, SAP) and Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of SharePoint and Power BI is a plus.
