The Head of Programme role is to enable the full end to end delivery value stream of a group of car components, which encompasses design, delivery, cost, quality, continuous improvement and future strategic direction.

Main Duties:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major group of car components, spanning multiple functions across the organisation, bridging the gap between strategic intent and practical delivery.
- Draw on previous technical / operational expertise to identify potential roadblocks and work with teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Act as the primary point of contact for delivery of a major group of car components across all functions, including the end customer.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Operations and Engineering Directors, and Senior leaders.
- Conduct periodic programme reviews and communicate progress updates.
- Own a product roadmap for a major group of car components, identifying pre-requisites or dependencies for delivery for future car programmes.
- Develop and optimise budgets, ensure effective cost management and resource allocation.
- Implement changes in line with ongoing transformation, with a specific focus on lead time reduction.
- Identify areas of process improvement, efficiency gains and cost cap optimisation within the delivery of the programme.

- Build, manage and motivate a cross functional team, holding all stakeholders accountable for the delivery of a component to time, cost and quality.
- Build a thoughtful culture of governance for related decisions regarding the delivery of a major group of car components.
- Share and implement lessons learnt across car component delivery teams.
- The ability to ‘make things happen’ and drive the pace of project delivery within an organisation, influencing their team and stakeholders to deliver results.
- The capability to evaluate options, analyse data, and make timely, well-informed choices that drive business success. Strong decision-maker who balances risks and benefits effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of executing successful delivery programmes within relevant industry.
