Head of Production – Nightshift

In this role you will be based at our facility in Enstone.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, this role will effectively manager and lead employees across our nightshift to ensure production targets are met alongside creating an efficient quality driven team.

You’ll achieve this through building strong relationships across the nightshift team and embedding a culture of teamwork.

Your Challenge

  • Day to day management of nightshift employees creating an environment of collaboration and engagement
  • Participate in staff selection, development, training and performance to attain business goals and expectations.
  • Allocate responsibilities, tasks and targets to ensure efficient operation of departments.
  • Support the fulfilment of production targets that have been set by Programme Management, across the shift.
  • Resolve issues and challenges encountered during nightshift considering people, business impact and performance.
  • Processing of production actions where nightshift cover does not currently exist (works order management, ERP transactions).
  • Identifying areas for improvement and suggesting resolutions to improve throughput on the nightshift.

About You

We are looking to enhance our team with someone who is a passionate people manager with the combined drive to achieve production targets. You’ll have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes with great attention to detail and high quality standards.

You’ll have the ability to lead shift activities, providing an effective environment for the team.
