We are seeking an exceptional Head of Financial Regulations & Transformation to lead our financial governance agenda, drive transformation, and support the team in maximising performance under the FIA Financial Regulations.

The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the team’s financial governance and transformation strategy across three interconnected pillars:
- Cost Cap Leadership
- Finance Transformation
- Business Partnering Excellence
Key Responsibilities Include
Cost Cap Leadership & FIA Compliance
- Own the full end‑to‑end delivery of annual and interim FIA financial submissions, ensuring accuracy, governance, and audit readiness.
- Support the CFO and senior leaders with advisory committee preparation, including interpreting FIA proposals, clarifications, and regulatory changes.
- Lead cost classification frameworks, evidence trails, risk management routines, and cost‑cap headroom tracking.
- Partner with Cost Efficiency and FP&A to align modelling, scenarios, governance standards, and optimisation strategies.
- Build strong working relationships with the FIA to ensure clarity of regulations, processes, and required controls.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive finance transformation roadmap aligned to long‑term business objectives and FIA cost‑cap requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitalisation, and process re‑engineering to enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Lead the deployment and integration of advanced finance technologies (ERP systems, BI dashboards, automation tools).
- Ensure robust data integrity and seamless data flow between finance, operations, and performance analytics teams.
- Support and guide the Finance Business Partnering Manager (direct report to this role) to ensure strong coverage across all major functions.
- Embed best‑in‑class planning, insight generation, and decision‑support routines across the business.
- Build and maintain close relationships with senior leaders, budget holders, and operational teams.
- Promote best practice, process adherence, and consistent ways of working across functions.
- Champion team and individual development, elevating skills, capability, and future leadership potential.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
About You - Skills & Experience
- Deep understanding of FIA Financial Regulations and Cost Cap mechanisms.
- Proven leadership within finance business partnering environments, ideally in complex or technical industries.
- Strong experience in financial planning, modelling, scenario analysis, and performance management.
- Track record of delivering finance transformation, technology implementations, or process redesign.
- Ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Motorsport or advanced engineering industry experience.
- Experience working within multi‑pillar finance organisations undergoing change.
- Ability to operate effectively in high‑regulation, high‑reputational‑risk contexts.
