Garage Electrician - F1 Evolution

Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our F1 Evolution team as a Garage Electrician. In this role you will play a vital role in the build, setup, and maintenance of our garage infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation at every F1 evolution event.


Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the setup and build of garages and work areas for all F1 Evolution events.
• Carry out electrical installations safely within garage and trailer environments.
• Support car operations during events, including fuel, tyre, and other tasks as agreed with senior staff.
• Report all technical issues directly to the Chief Garage Technician.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety protocols and foster a safe working environment.
• Perform equipment service, freight maintenance, and rebuilds during the off-season.
• Take ownership of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) and TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) responsibilities.
• Help manage the safe transport of team equipment by road, air, and sea.
• Maintain the highest standards of garage presentation and operational readiness.
• Actively contribute to garage pack-down planning and execution.
• Drive company vehicles to and from global events when required.
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 18th Edition Electrician certifications required.
• Previous experience of setup and build of garages is beneficial.
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships across departments and with external suppliers.
• Class 1 HGV License preferred but not essential.
• A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
• Creative and analytical thinker with a flexible approach to problem-solving.
• Clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety standards.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and extended travel periods.
• Willingness and availability to travel to events.
