Led by one of the most successful and innovative owners in motorsports, Chip Ganassi Racing has won 22 championships dating back to 1990. In addition, 2016 saw the team pick up their first-ever victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Overall, Ganassi has won six of the seven most iconic races in the world of auto racing with wins in the Indianapolis 500 (5 times), Daytona 500, Brickyard 400, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Rolex 24 At Daytona (8), and the 12 Hours of Sebring (2).

On the business side, CGR had one of the longest-running relationships in motorsports history with Target and currently can claim partnerships with PNC Bank, Parkland, DHL, and Honda, among many others. Today, Ganassi teams include three cars in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and two in INDY NXT by Firestone. Ganassi boasts a state-of-the-art racing facility in Indianapolis, and a corporate office in Pittsburgh.

We are looking for a professional, highly organized, and personable Front Desk Administrator to serve as the face of our Indianapolis location. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for guests and callers while supporting a wide variety of administrative tasks that help our team run smoothly. This position plays a key role in delivering a premium experience to visitors, sponsors, and team members alike.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Deliver a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Serve as the first point of contact—on the phone and in person—creating a positive and lasting first impression.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system—screening, routing, and following up on calls.
  • Respond to general inquiries with clear communication
  • Oversee the scheduling and logistics of conference rooms, ensuring resources are set up and meetings run smoothly.
  • Coordinate in-office meetings and events in partnership with HR, IT, and Sponsor Services, ensuring guests feel supported and spaces are presentation-ready.
  • Manage the receipt and routing of packages and deliveries.
  • Monitor building access, including guest credentials and security cards, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Assist with team logistics such internal communications (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.).
  • Order and track office supplies, anticipating team needs and managing vendor coordination.
  • Jump in on cross-functional projects and team initiatives as needed.
  • Support internal events like shop celebrations, sponsor visits, and team outings with a focus on detail and hospitality.
  • Promote a clean, organized, and high-performing office environment that reflects CGR’s championship mindset.

To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Need

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a professional office environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Friendly, team-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional organizational and customer service skills.
