The FP&A Lead role will spearhead the integration of advanced BI solutions within the FP&A domain. This role involves leveraging data analytics and Bl tools to provide actionable financial insights, streamline reporting and planning processes, and support strategic decision-making. The Finance BI Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to ensure seamless data flow, accuracy, and accessibility.

  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning; manage planning models/templates for accurate, efficient consolidation
  • Provide financial insights via variance analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling; analyse large datasets to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures
  • Prepare and present consolidated finance packs for stakeholders; support investor relations and translate complex data into clear narratives
  • Develop and execute a BI strategy aligned to financial needs; partner with finance to identify analytical opportunities and improve performance
  • Act as liaison between finance, business stakeholders, and tech teams; represent finance in organizational data governance to align finance-specific requirements
  • Promote data-driven culture through self-service analytics, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions on dashboards, governance, and best practices
  • Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and tools to track key metrics (e.g., EBIT, cash flow, ROI); ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
  • Oversee data management, governance, quality assurance, and integration; monitor data quality and implement corrective actions
  • Drive AI and analytics initiatives in finance, track dashboard engagement, and optimize based on feedback to enhance decision-making and efficiency

What do you need to bring to the team?

  • CIMA Qualified preferred, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including Excel, SQL, and data warehousing platforms
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial software integration
  • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills for presenting insights to finance and executive stakeholders; strong project management skills with experience in agile and other methodologies
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and proactive in sharing knowledge
  • Experience line managing desirable, but not essential
