We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner Manager to support the set-up and embedding of a Finance Business Partnering function, while also providing hands-on finance business partnering support to key operational areas of the organisation.

This role requires a senior finance professional with strong transformation and stakeholder management experience, capable of delivering immediate impact in a short-term contract.


  • Support the design and implementation of a Finance Business Partnering operating model
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and ways of working for the business partnering team
  • Support capability development within the team, including coaching and mentoring where appropriate
  • Act as a key interface between Finance and senior operational stakeholders during the set-up phase
  • Provide end-to-end finance business partnering support to designated operational areas
  • Deliver high-quality financial insight to support decision-making, performance management, and cost control
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand financial drivers, risks, and opportunities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for operational functions

What do you need to bring to the team?

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience in Finance Business Partnering, ideally within operational or complex environments
  • Demonstrable experience supporting or establishing finance business partnering teams or models
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insight
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and change-oriented environments
  • Strong systems and financial analysis capability
