Job Description
Red Bull Powertrains are seeking an Expeditor - Purchasing to join the team, driving the future of motorsport innovation. You will be based at our state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes which is designed to deliver high-performance Power Units for the 2026 engine regulations.
As the Expeditor, you will be a part of the Procurement Department, where you will be responsible for the timely delivery of all components, manufacturing processes and services required for the design, development and manufacture of a Championship winning Power Unit.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor and track all purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- To maintain, update information and supplier relationships on the manufacturing system, always ensuring its integrity, such that progress can be maintained if the specified buyer becomes unavailable for any reason.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain accurate and up-to-date information on order status, delivery dates, and any potential delays.
- Highlight delays in a timely manner to all stake holders to be proactive in overcoming supply problems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Production Control Group, Project Management, Transport to gather information on material requirements and expedite urgent requests.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies in order fulfilment.
- Regularly update the purchasing team and other stakeholders on the status of orders and any potential issues that may arise.
- Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to the purchasing team to help improve future purchasing decisions.
- Continuously improve procurement processes and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency enhancements.
- Operate with an independent and efficient approach to ensure the often-tight deadlines are met.
- Play an active role in seeking constant efficiency increase through innovation.
