We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Development Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team and take a significant role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) powertrains and sub-systems. As a Reliability Development Engineer, you will work closely with internal and external experts, plan and coordinate validation and inspection programs, and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art powertrains. Your work will be instrumental in supporting our race and test events worldwide.

As a Reliability Development Engineer, you will work closely with internal and external experts, plan and coordinate validation and inspection programs, and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art powertrains. - collaborate with internal and external experts to develop and approve ICE powertrains and sub-systems
- take responsibility for planning, coordinating, analyzing, documenting, and reporting on the powertrain validation and inspection program
- work with the team to define system and component reliability test patterns and validation criteria
- conduct failure root cause analyses, analyze data and build a comprehensive database
- plan, execute, and follow up on reliability tests on transient test benches and tracks
- develop and define test procedures, set limits, and specify test strategies
- utilize knowledge and experience with relevant measurement and analysis tools
- have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- have expertise in metallurgical structures, processes and failure mechanisms
- show practical experience with used engine parts
- display proficiency in both written and spoken English, excellent teamwork, strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward flexible working hours
- be willing to travel as needed
