Job Description
Williams Racing is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our Electronics Assembly team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a solid technical background in electronics who enjoys working with precision and flourishes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. You’ll play a key part in building and calibrating advanced electronic components that support our race cars and trackside operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and calibrate electronic components, harnesses, sensors, and pit equipment.
- Assemble and disassemble race car electronics to precise specifications.
- Follow build procedures and complete build checklists for inspection and quality assurance.
- Diagnose faults and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve issues.
- Support team performance through proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and professionalism across the department.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with:
- A relevant vocational qualification such as an HNC/HND in electronics or a related field (a degree is not mandatory).
- Practical experience in electronics assembly; experience in Formula 1 or motorsport is highly desirable.
- An apprenticeship or hands-on training in a similar environment is advantageous.
- Strong skills in:
- Sensor build, testing, and calibration
- Harness manufacture and testing
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- General electronic assembly
- PCB population and soldering
