Join us at an exciting time as we enter our first year as a works team, collaborating closely with Honda to shape the future of our team. We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our Power Unit Installation team.
In this dynamic role, you will work at the heart of our technical operations, collaborating closely with our aerodynamics, production, and race teams. You will take ownership of the scheme, design, testing, and development of fuel systems, engine cooling systems, driver cooling systems, and other power unit installation components.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engine cooling, driver cooling, fuel systems, and influence engine integration.
- Provide ongoing support throughout assembly, testing, and development phases.
- Collaborate closely with other Design Engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions.
- Proactively share knowledge and support continuous improvement across the team.
- Contribute to mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Experience in design within a Formula 1 or high-performance motorsport environment
- Experience producing high level design schemes and detailed drawings of complex assemblies to a demanding schedule
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as CATIA and SolidWorks.
- A passion for Formula 1 and motorsport engineering.
