Purpose of the Role:
As a Design Engineer you will join a passionate crew that will service and maintain our IndyCar for a high-performance, high-speed experience on the track. The right candidate will be self-motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. This position will work creatively in a team atmosphere while adhering to tight deadlines and remaining calm in high-pressure situations.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Component design (CAD), modeling, analyzing, and production guidance
- Reverse engineering and metrology/ Part QC
- 3D scanning and surfacing
- Involvement in a wide range of Aero, Vehicle dynamics and performance projects
- Light travel to some races and test events
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- CAD Design experience, Solidworks preferred
- Drawing/ Drafting and GD&T experience
- Familiarity with 3D scanning hardware
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail, organized, and proven experience to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Professional yet friendly personality required to interact with all team members and visitors
- Formula SAE/ Formula Student participation
- Direct experience with composite design and manufacturing
- Direct experience with additive manufacturing
- Hands on Manufacturing experience
