We have an exciting opportunity to join our Trim Shop team as a Composite Trimmer working on a day shift. This is your chance to be part of a high-performance, fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Trim, assemble, and bond composite components and assemblies to a high standard within set production timelines.
- Use hand and air tools efficiently and safely to carry out trimming and fitting tasks.
- Perform visual and structural repairs on composite parts when required.
- Conduct TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) on tools and equipment used in the Composite Trim department.
- Consistently meet challenging and demanding deadlines.
- Maintain organisation and focus while multitasking effectively.
- Uphold exceptional standards of quality and workmanship.
- Tackle technical challenges confidently, seeking support when necessary.
- Proven experience in composite trimming, fitting, bonding, and assembly, preferably within Formula One, motorsport, or high-end automotive environments
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, CAD visualisations, and assembly instructions.
- Skilled in the use of manual, hand-held, and air-powered tools.
- High level of precision and accuracy in all tasks.
- Structured and thorough approach to complex assembly work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and enthusiastic team contributor.
- Willing to assist across the department and adaptable to changing tasks.
- Able to maintain performance standards under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to adjust working hours when required.
