We have an opportunity for a Composite Repair Technician to join the Team at the new Silverstone Facility. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team.   • Prepare composite-dressed assemblies for race and test events, ensuring precise preparation under tight deadlines.
  • Assemble, fit, and prepare high-performance composite components—including front and rear wings, floors, and chassis structures—to tolerances and aerodynamic specifications.
  • Deliver hands-on technical support during car builds, races, test sessions, and development programs, contributing directly to on-track performance and reliability.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of composite parts, raw materials, and consumables to ensure immediate availability and minimize downtime in high-pressure environments.
  • Perform in-process quality inspections aligned with Cadillac Formula 1® Team stringent standards to identify and address issues proactively, safeguarding structural integrity and compliance.
  • Play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency, organization, and cleanliness in both workshop and trackside environments.
  • Provide support to Composite Manufacturing teams during peak periods, ensuring seamless integration between production and trackside operations.

What do you need to bring to the team?

  • Proven experience in composite trimming, finishing, and assembly within a Formula 1 or high level motorsport environment.
  • Highly skilled with precision hand and power tools; committed to delivering work of the highest quality under tight tolerances.
  • Proven experience building composite assemblies fit for trackside use.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to craftsmanship, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Effective under pressure, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to work varied shifts and travel internationally for race and test events if required.
  • Safety-conscious, self-motivated, and organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and operational excellence.
