Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop composite assemblies, including associated jigs, tooling, and patterns.
- Produce detailed 3D surfacing and define laminate specifications.
- Support the assembly, testing, and development of components.
- Resolve design challenges arising during validation and development.
- Collaborate across teams to refine concepts and optimise performance.
- Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in composites or mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience designing complex composite assemblies.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (ideally CATIA/3DX), including surfacing and detailed design.
- Strong knowledge of composite manufacturing methods, particularly pre-preg.
- Experience in motorsport or high-performance engineering (desirable).
- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Calm under pressure with strong organisational skills and adaptability.
