Job Description
Behind every race-winning team is a world-class support network. Our business functions drive efficiency, innovation, and performance, ensuring success on and off the track. If you’re motivated, skilled, and ready to be part of something extraordinary, we want to hear from you!
We're looking for a Communications Manager to join the Red Bull Technology Group and help shape and deliver our consumer and lifestyle communications strategy.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting driver communications, building brand visibility, and enhancing the reputation of our F1 teams as world-class leaders in sport and technology through impactful media engagement.
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Develop and execute integrated consumer comms plans that position the F1 teams as culturally relevant and innovative, aligned with broader media and lifestyle strategies.
- Support race weekend media logistics and messaging, working with the Comms Team to deliver clear, consistent, and high-impact race communications.
- Build and manage relationships with key lifestyle, entertainment, and news media, creating stories that engage new audiences and extend the brand beyond motorsport.
- Lead comms monitoring and evaluation, tracking coverage, sentiment, and KPIs, while supporting daily competitor and industry media monitoring.
- Collaborate with Red Bull markets and internal teams (Content, Social, Fan Engagement) to align messaging and maximise campaign impact across all channels.
- Support brand and partner communications, from messaging strategy to media outreach, helping shape public perception during launches, activations, and tech milestones.
Essential attributes for success:
- Proven experience in sports or lifestyle communications, with strong media relationships, especially across news, sport, and consumer outlets; crisis comms and agency management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure and deliver in fast-paced, global environments (including race weekends).
- Solid understanding of sports communication strategies, with interest in emerging tools and technologies; motorsport knowledge is a plus but not essential.
- Strong strategic mindset, capable of building impactful comms plans and measuring earned media performance effectively.
- Comfortable travelling to our Milton Keynes Campus and internationally throughout the year to support Formula 1 race events and weekends.
Keen to be part of the team that keeps everything ticking behind the scenes at Red Bull Racing? Join our Support Functions and you won’t just get a great role - you’ll enjoy some seriously good perks too including:
- Bonus scheme
- Private healthcare
- A pension scheme
- On-site gym
