CAD Design Engineer

In our purpose-built Electronics facility, we have the tools required to develop new technologies, deliver exciting research projects and above all support our dynamic team of Engineers, ensuring that they flourish and realise their goals and targets. We are looking for a passionate CAD Design Engineer.

This CAD based role involves working on a wide variety of projects within our Electronics Design function. Working alongside our team of Mechanical and Electronic Engineers, you will be responsible for the specification, routing, packaging, and installation of Electromechanical systems, working closely alongside our Electronics designers. You will be required to carry out fault investigation and resolution of allocated issues. You will be working with various disciplines across the design function.

So, you’ve heard a little about the role, here’s what we would like from you to be considered for this role:

• You will be educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Possess a strong understanding of the systems used within the Motorsport, Aerospace or Automotive industries.
• You will have experience in producing robust design solutions and working as part of a small multi skilled engineering group.
• Experience in the use of Computer Aided Design Harness packages. (Ideally Unigraphics NX12) would be advantageous.
