Job Description

Led by one of the most successful and innovative owners in motorsports, Chip Ganassi Racing has won 22 championships dating back to 1990. In addition, 2016 saw the team pick up their first-ever victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Overall, Ganassi has won six of the seven most iconic races in the world of auto racing with wins in the Indianapolis 500 (5 times), Daytona 500, Brickyard 400, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Rolex 24 At Daytona (8), and the 12 Hours of Sebring (2).

On the business side, CGR had one of the longest-running relationships in motorsports history with Target and currently can claim partnerships with PNC Bank, Parkland, DHL, and Honda, among many others. Today, Ganassi teams include three cars in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and two in INDY NXT by Firestone. Ganassi boasts a state-of-the-art racing facility in Indianapolis, and a corporate office in Pittsburgh.

Chip Ganassi Racing is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented AI Prompting & Workflow Specialist to help our organization unlock the full potential of artificial intelligence across every department. This role will focus on teaching employees how to effectively use AI tools—such as ChatGPT and other emerging platforms—to streamline their daily work, enhance creativity, and free up time for deeper thinking and innovation.

The ideal candidate is equal parts teacher, technologist, and problem-solver—someone who understands how to turn everyday tasks into smarter, faster workflows powered by AI.

Key Responsibilities

AI Training & Enablement

  • Develop and lead hands-on training programs to teach employees how to use AI tools for writing, analysis, ideation, and process automation.
  • Coach individuals and teams on effective prompt engineering—how to ask better questions, structure context, and get the best results from AI tools.
  • Create reference guides, video tutorials, and “prompt libraries” tailored to specific departments (competition, marketing, partnerships, operations, etc.).

Workflow Optimization

  • Analyze current processes and identify opportunities where AI can reduce manual effort, accelerate turnaround times, and improve accuracy.
  • Design and implement custom AI-assisted workflows—such as report generation, content creation, data organization, or knowledge management.
  • Track performance improvements and report measurable efficiency gains across departments.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with the latest AI advancements and identify tools or integrations that could benefit the organization.
  • Partner with leadership to test and roll out new AI systems that align with operational and business goals.
  • Build an internal culture of curiosity and continuous learning around AI technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in operations, digital transformation, or technology-driven process improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, etc.) for business applications.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills—comfortable leading group workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Ability to translate technical tools into practical, easy-to-understand workflows.
  • Creative thinker with a strong sense of organization, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Why This Role Matters

The AI Prompting & Workflow Specialist will help our team embrace new ways of working—combining human expertise with the speed and intelligence of AI. By integrating these tools into everyday operations, this role will help us work smarter, think deeper, and stay ahead—both on and off the track.
