Job Description
Alpine F1 Team have an excellent opportunity for a senior developer to join our Aerodynamics Software Team, based at our Enstone factory. We are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual to contribute to our relentless pursuit of performance.
The Role
You will be part of a software team whose main role is to support the Aerodynamics department continuously improve the performance of the car, including Wind Tunnel, CFD, Correlation and aero design by developing new and existing applications and tools.
Software development in F1 is fast paced, so it is important you have a strong background in software engineering principles to ensure that rapidly developed tools and applications are reliable and supportable. If you are looking to work in a software engineering environment, but within the rapid development world of F1, this role is for you.
You will have a collaborative style, working closely with other software engineers and members of the aerodynamic department to understand and help develop requirements and ensure deliverables are on time and to the agreed quality. To enable this collaboration, you will be required to work a minimum of 4 days per week from the office.
The successful candidate will have a degree in computer science or a related field and at least 2 years professional experience of software development using c#.

We are looking for individuals with good analytical and problem solving skills who are ready to accept the challenge of working in Formula 1.
The candidate will be organised, methodical, and demonstrate the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and articulate challenging concepts in understandable terms. The candidate should also be able to deliver high-quality results, under pressure and within tight timescales.
